Edgertonz is a Manchester based real estate company. We started as a law firm and developed into a solid real estate company and now we are taking a step into property developments. Our focus is on completed and income generating assets based on real returns and only focus on real demand areas. Our experience has taught us to be more pragmatist and keep an eye on long term reality-based rental returns so our clients will never have to be out of rentals or purchase overpriced properties. We have just acquired a completed, tenanted and managed residential project in Halifax. Halifax is the largest town of the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale in the county of West Yorkshire. The area is part of Government’s Northern Powerhouse plan for a super-connected, globally competitive northern economy with a flourishing private sector, a highly skilled population, and world-renowned civic and business leadership. Just 15 minutes away from Bradford, 40 minutes from Leeds and 50 minutes from Manchester, the town is a centre point for all with an easy reach.

The rise of Foreign Direct Investment

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) is growing in the North overall. Northern Powerhouse has taken the lion’s share of FDI. The EY UK Attractiveness Survey has highlighted the significant increase in FDI projects in the North since the term 'Northern Powerhouse' was first coined and the potential of devolution to increase the attractiveness of the North to global investors. The North West recorded 90 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in 2016 with the focus on the Northern Powerhouse agenda helping to boost the region's overall attractiveness, according to new research.
